Peyton joined our company in early 2023. Although he is new to the field of accident reconstruction, he has already provided engineering support on numerous forensic investigations including multi-vehicle impacts, motorcycles, heavy trucks, and pedestrian accidents. His numerous years of hands-on experience as a mechanic on passenger cars and motorcycles gives him a unique, intuitive perspective as to how these vehicles will react in an accident.

Peyton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington - Seattle. Peyton also holds an Associates of Science degree in Engineering from Highline College, where he was recognized as the Engineering student of the year in the 2014-2015 academic year.

Peyton has been a practicing engineer since 2018. Prior to joining Compass Consulting Engineers, Peyton held various design and manufacturing engineering positions. Just prior to joining our company, Peyton worked for a fiberglass boat company, where he facilitated production and assembly of multitude of support materials used in the manufacturing of the boats. Peyton’s other work history includes working with springs, suspension components, and bicycles. Throughout his professional career, Peyton has also served as an automotive mechanic for friends and family. His broad background in vehicle mechanics paired with his engineering education has given him an excellent understanding of vehicles as a whole and their associated physics. We are excited to have Peyton join our team.

A self-proclaimed Craigslist connoisseur and collector, Peyton spends his free time tinkering and restoring vintage bicycles, cars, and other antiques. When he is not home pursuing his hobbies, he is probably in the Colorado wilds skiing, biking, or camping.
