William (Will) joined our company in 2024 to apply his broad range of skills gained from creating 3D works for animated films to creating compelling and accurate reconstructions here at our company. At Compass Consulting Engineers, he provides 3D animations of accidents, 3D models and meshed point clouds for engineers, as well as providing additional graphics support. Will creates digital reconstructions of evidence, environments, and events for clients directly in collaboration with our engineers. He brings unique experiences and a high attention to detail to his artistic and technical work.

Will holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation from Columbia College Chicago. His 3D animations have won many awards for the short films in his filmography.

In the fall of 2023, Will took on a project in which he and another collaborator produced an animated short film weekly for 15 weeks. In each project, Will conceptualized, created assets for, animated, and post-processed hundreds of animated shots. Earlier that same year, he did Technical Direction for an award-winning short called Screamwriters. During his time on the project, he built pipelines for bringing shots to completion and programmed a batch renderer for the project's animation software.

In his time away from the office, he likes scouring second-hand shops and flea markets for old electronic collectibles. Will loves to take computers, cameras, and appliances for use in his animations and software projects.
